Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (UPSIDC) is committed to provide high standard, plentiful infrastructure, facilities, and an investor friendly environment for ensuring higher industrial growth in the state.

Agriculture

Uttar Pradesh is a very fertile region and a major contributor to the national food grain stock. Partly this is due to the fertile regions of the Indo-Gangetic plain, and partly owing to irrigation measures such as the Ganga Canal. Lakhimpur Kheri is the largest sugar producing district in the country. It is also home to 78% of national livestock population.

Information Technology, Electronics and Services

Uttar Pradesh is the IT-HUB of North India with software exports next to Karnataka. But unlike South Indian states it is limited to particular areas only like NOIDA, Greater NOIDA, and Ghaziabad etc. which lie in NCR. Uttar Pradesh has booming electronics industries especially in UP-Delhi-NCR and Lucknow-Kanpur Corridor. It produces almost all types of durables.
